Happy Holidays!

Well this Christmas season has come and again I'm doing a digital card on my blog for all my friends and family. Next year WILL be different, I promise.

We are still here in Rexburg with out Todd. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We will be moving down to Vegas the first weekend of February. The "plan" is that Todd with fly up the first Friday we'll finish packing and load a truck up. Then on Saturday we'll baptize Quinton and then head out Sunday morning giving Todd Monday to get the truck unloaded.

The house hasn't sold and we don't as yet have any renters but Todd's roommate is getting married and moving out and is letting Todd keep the same rent plus utilities. So with no one else there with him we'll shut the house up here and join him.

To say this was a growing experience would be putting it mildly, and it's not really over yet.
We've so much appreciated all the prayers on our families behalf and they have been such a blessing for us. We know how blessed we are to have such an amazing family and wonderful friends.

We wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year~

Happy Birthday Quinton!

Holy smokes, I have an eight year old!!!!!

Quinton is such an easy kid. He is helpful and is excited about so many things in life. He has a tender heart and a soft spot for his little sisters.

He is a great big brother and friend to Weiland and tries to do what's right.

I am so thankful he is part of our family.

This year with things being they way they are we kept things simple. (I've promised myself I will make it up to him with a fabulous party next year or maybe just for fun once we've moved) We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa here for Thanksgiving and since his birthday was only a week away he got to open their gift while they were here. He chose a North Pole Express train and LOVES it! ! ! ! It's a remote control train with a working head light and it plays Christmas music. I can hear it downstairs early each morning, thank you Grandma and Grandpa.

His birthday fell on a Sunday this year so we did our traditional family get together for cake and ice cream. I'm so lucky to live near my sisters and their families, we love having them over. This year he had chosen a pirate ship cake and when I was showing him how it would look he asked to see some other cakes and one of the cakes he saw was a shark. So he told me next year he'll have the pirate ship and this year he wanted the shark. Ok, can do.

He got a great remote control truck from his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He hasn't let anyone play with yet, it's still "new" he says.

Happy Birthday to my BIG boy.
