Happy Birthday munchkin

 I don't start doing parties for the kids until they're about 6. Then they start to appreciate all the work that goes into them and can really enjoy it. So Holland got to go to Ellie's party this year but didn't have one of her own. I wanted her to feel special on her birthday so I put up some decorations and and got the presents on the table early. The kids were out of school on Friday as was Todd due to Nevada day so we got to go to the park to play and that night was our ward trunk or treat.

She wanted a butterfly cake this year.

Because we were trunk or treating on her birthday we invited one of her cute friends from nursery and her family over for cake and ice cream on Saturday.

We're so lucky to have this cutie in our family. She has both of her brothers wrapped around her finger and loves it.

Halloween

 This was the year of recycled costumes. I kinda felt guilty about it but the kids were good sports and didn't seem to mind too much. Halloween started on Friday this year with our ward party and trunk or treat. I'd say this was the biggest haul of candy we've ever had so far trick or treating. I'm totally bummed that I didn't get a picture of our trunk that Todd decorated. He made teeth and a tongue and it was by far one of the coolest trunks there.

Holland my cute bat. I gave her the option of princess/fairy or the bat and she chose the bat. I added a bow to make it a little girly

Quinton the pirate. We've had this costume since he was about 4 and it's been used ever since. I cut the ends of the pants to look ragged since they were so short on him.

Ellie got to be two things this year. First she was the tiger for the trunk or treat, again added bows to the ears. And then I finally found her witch costume from last year so she wore that trick or treating.
