Pine Wood Derby

We had our first official Pine Wood Derby this last week. Both Todd and Quinton had a good time designing and building the car. Quinton painted and added the stars while Todd was responsible for cutting out the shape and adding the weight.

Quinton did pretty good in the races and came in around the middle some where. He had so much fun racing!!



































Each Scout received a trophy, Quinton's was most inspirational.

The boys are already planning their cars for next year when Weiland will also be in Cub Scouts. We learned a few things for next time as well that Todd can do next time.

Quinton did a great job and was such a good sport. So proud!

Quinton the Accountant

About a week ago was "take your child to work day" and in our school district the child has to be 8yrs old to go. Quinton was SO excited to spend the day with Todd at work. He was excited to meet all the partners that make up "PBTK" (Piercy, Bowler, Taylor and Kern) and lucky kid met each one. Todd gave him a few jobs to do, one of which was to go get things off the printer and bring them back to the desk. Todd said he was always asking when he was going to be done and could print something.

















They had a great day together and Quinton is already looking forward to next year when he can go again.
