Family Reunion

The reunion started off with extended family on his mom's side. Lots of cousins and their families came as well as all his aunts and uncles. It was so fun to see everyone and their families and to see how much they have all grown. Those cousins who were having kids when I was and to see how big they'd all gotten. We were camped in these little cabins along a river and they worked great for sleeping, since really that's all we needed them for. We got to share ours with Ashlee and her girls while Konrad was away for those few days.

There was hiking and playing in the river, and having fun with cousins and more cousins.

The train we spent most of our time on while waiting for the rafters to appear.

Ellie looking cute

apparently we had a train ful of monkeys who liked to climb on the bars.

the kids each got to take a few shots with the camera and this one of Todd and the next of Grandpa were the only ones really worth posting.

Weiland was in heaven pretending to run the train and all the perils it had to over come.

Big brother Quinton. (I imagine him more as a basketball player than football)

Silly Holland who would just run up and down the car having a good time.

Once everyone arrived we all had lunch together. Grandpa, Ellie and Weiland enjoying some peanuts, what a mess!

Unfortunately those were the only pictures I took at this part of the reunion. I am getting worse about pulling out my camera and I'm kicking myself for it. But luckily I have great sisters-in-law who take lots of pictures so I've borrowed some from them. (thanks girls!)

Hiking up the mountain, go kids go!!

Sam and Weiland, I loved how well these two got along. She was perfect for Wei.(miss her!!)

Grandpa took the older kids on a hike/walk.

Grandma got all the grandkids matching shirts so you can pick them out of the "All Family" picture, and it worked!

Kids on the train at this super yummy restaurant on or way to the next reunion.

Family Reunion"S"

So this part of the reunion is not in any particular order, just how they came up when I downloaded them. This is the Crabtree part of the reunion. Mom and Dad got this A.M.A.Z.I.N.G house for us all.

One day (well it actually took two days) the mom's got to do a little project I brought. We made holiday planners that I had made last year but not for myself. Happy I got one this year, will be making more I'm sure.

Girls craft time *

We also tried to have some things for the kids to do. Brittney brought this butcher paper for the kids to color and make a family banner on.

We had some great time just out in the back yard playing. Bubbles were a big part of the fun all week long.

We were also blessed to have Great Grandma Williams with us for a few days. I think we made her grateful she could turn down her hearing.

We were also lucky enough to get to celebrate Samantha's 8th birthday while we were there, we miss celebrating birthdays with family.

There was also a community pool that we visited almost everyday. So much fun to swim with cousins!

Grandpa and Grandma brought a wading pool and a slip and slide to play on as well as squirt guns and bubbles.

4th of July

So this is a "little" late coming but I need to get these pictures posted and the post written before I forget any more of this trip.

We went to Rexburg for the 4th and for the blessing of my niece Emberlee. It was great because the WHOLE family came. The best was watching all the kids play together. Why does life have to go not according to plan and why do we all have to live spread out. (I guess I'm the most spread out, but still) I loved watching the girls do silly things and the boys run crazy.

We got there Saturday afternoon and were able to just hang out and have fun. Todd had to do a little work at the house finishing clearing out the garage, I went with him to say hi to some neighbors we really miss (unfortunately most weren't home), and I couldn't bring myself to walk in the house and see other peoples things there.

All the granddaughters in the cute skirts Grandma brought ( still love'n them at our house)

Brynlee and Holland, Bryn showing us how big her mommies tummy is getting with her twin brothers in it. : )

Anyway Sunday was the blessing and a great family dinner. Aaron gave her such a beautiful blessing. I wish I was still there to see her grow but such is life. (court post more pictures!!)

Then for the 4th of course we did the parade and after went to the pond for the day. The kids played and swam in the pond and had a great time. We bbq'd and ate and ate. Later of course there were some firework and some very tired kids.

It was a quick trip because we packed up the next morning and headed home. We sure miss all our cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Sillito, it was so fun to be together even if it was such a short visit.
