Quinton's Birthday

Quinton is 10!!!!!

It's gets me every year. Where has my sweet little baby gone. He is my first, he is my tender hearted, he is my thoughtful one, he is my studious one, and I love him.

I was sicker than sick on his birthday so Todd took this picture and I missed him opening his gifts. He even had to wait an extra week for his party because I was in charge of the ward Christmas party the Saturday after his birthday. He was such a good sport about it all.

He wanted a pirate party so I did the best I could knowing only a few boys would be coming.

 The sad little ship cake

Todd took the boys on a great treasure hunt where they had to accomplish tasks and over come obstacles.

I hope he had a great birthday and enjoyed his day. Love you bud.

Utah trip

In November we got to make a quick trip to Utah for a baptism and to see family.
While we were there we went to temple square and took the tour of the Conference Center.

It was a really cool tour, found out things that were there that I never knew about.

All I can say is bbbbuuurrrrrr

We were there for Jaden's baptism and Kayla's conformation. Poor girl just had surgery on her calfs and had casts on both her legs.

It was so good to see them and to see Grandma & Grandpa Crabtree as well as Great Grandma Williams. Wish we had had more time to see more family. Thanks to Jeff and Lori for letting us invade their home.

Halloween

Halloween this year happened twice. We had our ward trunk or treat the weekend before Halloween and then the kids got to go trick or treating on Halloween.

This year Holland was a purple princess

Quinton was a Roman soldier

 Ellie was a pink princess

and Weiland was a robot

Todd made W's costume and he received LOTS of compliments on it all night long.

Of course Todd had to get in on the action as well. His mission to Japan has served him well.

It was another Happy Halloween.

Girls birthdays

This year the girls had low key birthdays since last year they had parties.

We decked out the kitchen and her room in pink to celebrate. She also went bowling with a friend and dad as well as to Yogurtland for a treat after.

Then we got to party again the next day for Holland's Birthday. We switched up the decorations in the kitchen to purple streamers and moved the pink balloons out of the room to make room for purple ones for Holland.
I'm an awful mom and we didn't really do much to celebrate this girls birthday. My only saving grace is that she and I do lots of things together and she gets lots of treats the other kids don't because they're in school. I promis to do better next year sweetie.

She seemed pretty happy with her special day.

our last pool day of the summer

One of the perks about living in Vegas is that there are a lot of conventions and conferences held here. And because of this we sometimes get to see family who have to attend these kinds of things. We've had my dad before and now Konrad and Ashlee twice.

This time they came we went to see Ashlee at the Paris hotel and help her use their pool. Now the fabulous thing about these pictures are that they are taken in OCTOBER. This was the last time we used a pool for this summer and the kids had a great time.

Thanks Ashlee for letting us hang with you at the pool.
