What a great week! (there is a plethora of pictures)

This past week has been FILLED with FUN! Todd's parents came to stay for a few days before the family reunion down in Utah. The kids were so excited that they were coming and we tried to think of some fun things to do while they were here. I was a little nervous about the weather cooperating since we'd been having rain for two weeks straight. We got lucky and had just enough sun to do the things we'd planned.

They arrived Sunday night and so we visited and the kids went bizzerk trying to get their attention and showing them every thing they owned. Finally they settled down and went to bed and then we could really chat.

Monday we wanted to take them to Mesa Falls and tried to stay ahead of the rain. We took the scenic route there and enjoyed the short hike down to the falls. For some reason the boys seemed to be in a hurry to get some where else the whole time so we didn't end up staying too long. We ended in their little "museum" to look at a whole bunch of skins of different animals.

Grandpa and Holland , thanks for carring her the whole time!

On Tuesday we went to the zoo in Idaho Falls. The kids always love the zoo.

Getting ready to get going

just a few of the animals we saw

This picture needs a little explanation. Last summer we went to the zoo and Todd stood on this tiger and I snapped a picture. Well Quinton has seen this picture many time and when he heard we were going to the zoo he said he wanted to stand on the tiger like dad. So when we got to that part of the zoo with the tiger he hopped up and posed just like Todd and said " mom take my picutre like dad". It's amazing to me how much he wants to be like his dad and how much he looks up to him.

We had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa here all to ourselves. The rest of the week we spent at the Williams family reunion. I'll do that in it's own post so this one doesn't go on forever.
