We got a great surprise today. The door bell rang and to our surprise the mail lady was on the other side with three boxes for our family. Grandma Crabtree sent birthday presents for Ellie and another box for Holland. Ellie was so excited to have more presents to open, it was great timing because I've had to keep her away from the baby due to her cold and unexpected fever. She wasn't too happy she couldn't kiss her baby and has been quite grumpy. So thank you Grandma and great timing! She loved everything and had to put it all on together. As you can see she got two purses (one of her favorite things) great dress up shoes, and a really cute coat. She also got a beautiful Christmas dress which I had to talk her out of putting on as well right then. She also got some headbands which she also insisted on wearing all of them together. So thank you so much for thinking of Ellie and you knew just what she'd love.
You can always tell if Ellie likes something. She'll cart it around or wear it for days. We're on day two now of wearing the coat, shoes, purses, and headbands. She wanted to sleep with the coat on last night. Thank you again for thinking of her.
